Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the website operated under the GuildShore brand and its informational content. They do not constitute an acquisition mandate, financing commitment, or engagement agreement. Any agreement for services identifies the contracting parties and governs that engagement.
1. Website purpose
This website describes business-acquisition support and provides an application to speak with the team. You may use it to evaluate whether to inquire about services. You must provide accurate information and have authority to submit any information on another person’s or organization’s behalf.
Submitting an application does not obligate either party to enter an engagement. GuildShore must separately confirm acceptance, scope, fees, and terms in writing. This website does not accept payment or execute acquisition agreements.
2. Separate engagement terms
Any paid work is governed by a signed agreement identifying the parties, responsibilities, fees, payment schedule, confidentiality requirements, termination rights, and any agreed guarantee or refund remedy. Website descriptions are summaries and should be read together with the applicable written terms. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Any quoted fee or success-fee structure is subject to the specific mandate. Do not treat a case-study financing structure, down payment, or transaction multiple as an offer of financing or a price available to you.
3. Guarantees and refund descriptions
Any advertised service guarantee applies only on the terms expressly included in the signed engagement agreement. Review what qualifies as an eligible opportunity, when the guarantee period begins, the buyer’s participation requirements, the claim process, and the stated remedy before signing.
The FAQ describes a qualified-business-under-LOI guarantee, subject to terms. A letter of intent is not a completed acquisition and may be non-binding. No website statement should be interpreted as a guarantee of financing approval, a completed purchase, a salary, profit, or investment return. These terms do not retroactively change any signed guarantee.
4. Informational content and independent advice
Articles, transaction summaries, FAQs, videos, and client stories provide general information. They are not a substitute for independent legal, tax, accounting, lending, or investment advice suited to your circumstances. Obtain the professional diligence and approvals appropriate to the transaction before making a commitment.
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell securities or a solicitation to buy securities. Website use alone does not establish a fiduciary or professional adviser relationship.
5. Deal information and third parties
Transaction cards describe selected work or acquisition mandates. They are not a live inventory of businesses available for purchase. Figures, availability, negotiations, and transaction stages can change. Additional information can be confidential and subject to a nondisclosure agreement.
Third-party websites, video players, and forms are operated by their respective providers. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. A link does not mean that GuildShore controls or endorses every aspect of a third-party service.
6. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not use the website unlawfully, impersonate another person, submit material you lack authority to share, interfere with its operation, distribute malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access. Do not republish protected content, branding, images, or video as your own without the rights holder’s permission. You may retain reasonable copies for your personal evaluation of the services.
7. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the information useful, but websites can contain errors or become unavailable. Check material facts directly before relying on them. To the extent permitted by applicable law, informational website content is provided without a warranty that it is complete, current, or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, removes mandatory consumer protections, or limits express obligations in a signed engagement agreement. Any additional limitation of liability, governing-law provision, or dispute-resolution procedure for paid services must be addressed in the applicable agreement.
8. Changes and questions
Updated website terms will carry an updated date. Changes to website terms do not automatically amend a signed engagement. For questions, use the GuildShore contact details in your agreement or existing correspondence.
